LMC is searching for a Staff/Senior Accountant in our Tirana, Albania office. What You’ll Do:

• Maintain financial reports, records, and general ledger accounts.
• Prepare and/or oversee journal entries, analyses, and account reconciliations and assist with monthly close processes.
• Organize financial data, including documentation for accounts payable, accounts receivables, and conduct internal audits.
• Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
• Meeting processing and reporting deadlines.
• Responding to information requests, reviewing financial statements, and assisting with audits.
• Assisting the accounting services department as needed.
• Monitor Work in Progress to ensure that work is completed within the budgeted period.

Qualifications:

• Master's Degree with a concentration in Accounting or Finance required.
• ACCA/CPA preferred.
• 1-5 years of professional accounting experience (depending on the position applying for)
• QuickBooks experience preferred.
• Strong numeracy and analytical skills.
• Strong computer skills, MS Excel in particular (managing spreadsheets, creating charts and using advanced formulas)
• Excellent analytical skills to manage large amounts of data.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Time management and ability to meet deadlines.
• Must be proficient in English and have outstanding communication skills, both spoken and written
• Highly organized, and able to prioritize tasks in a deadline-driven, time-sensitive environment.
• Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Available to work additional hours when necessary, during tax season.
