Standard Job Description
Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) is seeking a Circuit Design Engineer to join our hardware engineering team. MFC is a recognized designer, developer, and manufacturer of precision engagement aerospace and defense systems for the U.S. and allied militaries. What You Will Be Doing
The Circuit Design Engineer will support the design, development, integration, and test of circuit card assemblies (CCAs) used in challenging, high-reliability defense applications. Responsibilities may include:
- Driving the architecture, schematic capture, and EPCAD layout for circuit card assemblies supporting missile and sensor subsystems
- Defining, refining, and documenting system, performance, interface, and environmental requirements for circuit card designs
- Conducting trade studies to evaluate alternative design approaches and recommending optimal implementations
- Performing circuit simulation and analysis using Cadence PSpice or equivalent tools
- Capturing schematics using Siemens Xpedition Enterprise and collaborating with EPCAD to create layout and signal routing solutions
- Owning end-to-end circuit card designs and delivering all data and evidence required for Design Assurance reviews
- Working with systems, electromechanical, firmware/software, and manufacturing teams to ensure seamless integration and testing
- Managing bill of materials, part sourcing, and prototype build-up activities
- Verifying compliance with shock, vibration, radiation, and other environmental qualification standards

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related STEM field from an accredited university
- Minimum 1 year of professional experience in circuit design engineering or a related discipline
- Experience with schematic capture tools such as Siemens Xpedition Enterprise or equivalent
- Experience with circuit simulation and analysis tools such as Cadence PSpice or equivalent
- Experience with developing and refining system requirements, including performance, interface, and environmental requirements
- Active DoD Top Secret or functionally equivalent
Desired Skills
- Experience with MFC circuit card design processes and the Design Assurance process
- Experience with military standards and specifications, including MIL-STD-461 and MIL-STD-704
- High-speed design experience including PCIe, Gigabit Ethernet, SERDES, or high-speed memory interfaces (DDR4/5)
- Experience with Xilinx/AMD FPGA families (UltraScale, Versal)
- Experience with Mentor Graphics Hyperlynx or equivalent signal integrity tools
- FPGA design experience; familiarity with Verilog, SystemVerilog, or VHDL
- Experience with analog and/or digital video system design
- MATLAB experience
- Demonstrated effective communication skills
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $81100.00 - $150500.00

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
