We are seeking a Product Owner/Business Analyst to work with our team to deliver products that innovate and evolve the insurance industry. You will take the lead on bridging the gap between clients and our technical teams to build innovative applications to revolutionise the way Lockton transact business
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate requirements gathering workshops and document outcomes effectively.
Analyse, map, and document business processes, workflows, and system requirements.
Gather, validate, and prioritise business and user requirements.
Create and maintain user stories, acceptance criteria, and supporting documentation.
Work closely with stakeholders to understand business challenges and identify opportunities for improvement.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, business users, and technical teams.
Support the creation, refinement, and prioritisation of the product backlog.
Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
Collaborate with development teams to ensure requirements are clearly understood and delivered successfully.
Capture and communicate user and client feedback to inform product improvements.
Contribute to the development and maintenance of product roadmaps and delivery plans.
Candidate Profile
Skills, Experience & Qualifications
- Experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, Product Analyst, or Software Engineering role.
Proven experience gathering, analysing, and documenting business requirements.
Experience working within Agile delivery environments.
Strong understanding of the product development lifecycle and Agile ceremonies.
Hands-on experience using Atlassian tools such as Jira and Confluence.
Experience within the insurance or financial services sector would be advantageous, but is not essential.
Ability to balance business priorities with technical considerations to support successful product delivery.
