We are looking for a highly motivated E-commerce Developer to join our Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) technology team. This is an entry-level role perfect for a candidate with strong foundational knowledge, a high degree of curiosity, and a passion for e-commerce. You will focus on learning the intricacies of commerce technologies-including order management, payments, and fraud systems-while applying your problem-solving skills and leveraging AI tools to drive system performance and operational excellence.
Your Contribution:
In this role, you will grow as you:
- Assist in the implementation of the e-commerce ecosystem, learning how B2C/B2B platforms and order management systems function in a global environment.
- Support design discussions by researching options and analyzing their impact on scalability and performance.
- Learn to maintain integrations between core order lifecycle systems, ensuring you understand the flow from order placement to fulfillment.
- Contribute to the strategy for expanded commercial channels, using your critical thinking skills to help build omnichannel models.
- Build agentic systems to ensure they are optimized for automation, security, performance, and compliance standards.
- Collaborate closely with team members, actively participate in code reviews, and embrace best practices to accelerate your professional growth.
- Apply AI tools to assist in feature development, debugging, and maintaining up-to-date documentation for development efforts.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Strong foundational knowledge of software development Evidence of academic projects or internships involving e-commerce or web applications.
- High learning agility with a proven ability to solve technical problems quickly and creatively.
- Basic proficiency in modern web architectures and data transfer mechanisms.
- Eagerness to leverage AI tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Gemini) to enhance productivity and code quality.
- Solid understanding of best practices in commerce and ability to bring a consulting approach to help business solve issues and challenges
- Proven ability to analyze complex systems, develop data-driven solutions, and demonstrate strong problem-solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including communicating with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills suited for IT, marketing, and executive audiences.
- Must be able to work flexible hours to collaborate with a diversely distributed global IT and business team members
- Multi-tasking, with strong analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
