Smart Contract Engineer

We build production software: web products, internal tools, APIs, and on-chain systems when the product needs them.
You own the smart contracts. Design and write Solidity for tokens, access control, issuance, transfers, and ownership on EVM chains. Set roles, events, and pause or upgrade paths. Test and deploy with Hardhat or Foundry, including unit, integration, and fork tests. Work with Product and Backend on ABIs, upgrade plans, and production readiness. Prepare for audits, triage findings, and ship fixes. Keep contracts clear, maintainable, and reasonable on gas. Document the architecture, assumptions, and how to operate what you ship.
What you bring:
- Strong EVM knowledge: gas, storage, events, reentrancy, access control, and common vulnerability patterns
- Hardhat, Foundry, or similar, through deployment
- ERC-20, ERC-721, ERC-1155, Ownable or AccessControl, and proxy or upgrade patterns
- TypeScript or JavaScript for scripts and tests (ethers or viem)
- Production contracts, with care for tests, security, and code quality
- A bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent experience
- Clear communication with a remote team, and the ability to explain design tradeoffs
- A self-starter who can ship with little supervision
Nice to have: audit work, OpenZeppelin, L2s, account abstraction, permissioned chains, indexing or transaction orchestration, formal verification or static analysis.

Compensation: $140K - $180K / yr (USD)
