Extensive handson experience in automation testing using Selenium WebDriver with Java and Playwright Java testing frameworks Strong foundation in designing developing and maintaining robust test automation frameworks Proficient in creating and executing automated test scripts for functional regression integration and endtoend testing Solid understanding of software testing lifecycle STLC and agile methodologies Experience in API testing and validation using tools like Postman and Rest Assured Skilled in SQL for backend database validation and writing complex queries Familiarity with CICD tools such as Jenkins Azure DevOps or similar for automation pipeline integration Knowledge of version control systems like Git GitHub or Bitbucket Exposure to test management tools such as JIRA and Micro Focus Octane Strong analytical problemsolving and communication skills Ability to work collaboratively with crossfunctional teams in Agile environments Banking or financial services domain experience is a plus
Roles and Responsibilities
Design develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver with Java and Playwright Java
Build and enhance automation frameworks leveraging best practices such as Page Object Model POM and datadriven approaches
Execute functional regression smoke integration and endtoend test cases
Analyze business requirements user stories and acceptance criteria to create comprehensive test scenarios
Perform API testing and backend data validation to ensure data integrity
Integrate automation suites with CICD pipelines to enable continuous testing
Identify track and report defects using defect management tools
Collaborate closely with developers business analysts product owners and QA team members throughout the software development lifecycle
Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning daily standups backlog grooming and retrospectives
Mentor junior team members and share automation best practices
Support release cycles by driving QA activities endtoend including test planning execution and reporting
Continuously improve automation processes and frameworks to increase efficiency and coverage
