Water LeakTechnician,Chassisin charge of Water Leakdiagnosis and root cause investigationand reproductionat Lucid AMP2 KSA and working in a challenging and fast-paced environment where you will work with a highly motivated team on extremely challenging projects. 

The Water Leak Technicianworks with NVH Engineer and cross-functional teams throughout the entire product lifecycle working proactively to protect the Lucid production lines from quality issuesthrough a proactive approach. You will work closely withQuality Engineering, Manufacturing Quality and Repair Teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respect safety rules: wearing Personal Protective Equipment: safety glasses, vests, shoes, gloves, hard hats when required. 
  • Maintain Safe and Clean work environment as per 6S standards. 
  • Execute Water Leaktesting protocols on static and dynamic onvehicles and components using spray boothsand pressure decay equipment. 
  • Conduct Water Leakinvestigation,diagnosis and troubleshooting to localize Water Leaksourcesentry points. 
  • Conduct associated trials and testsfor root cause confirmation(components assembly, disassembly, cross-checks…). 
  • Support Manufacturing Quality in Water Leaktesting and resolving issues reported through Pre-Delivery Inspection and Lucid Customer Product Audit. 
  • Supportwater leak root cause analysis for field issues. 
  • Ensure vehicle customized set-upwhen needed for water leak testing and investigation. 
  • Assist NVH Engineers in root cause analysis and validation of countermeasures. 
  • Document Water Leaktesting procedures and results. 
  • Maintain Water Leakequipment, toolsand instruments in good condition. 
  • Collaborate with the cross-functional teams to improve Water Leakperformance.  
  • Providefeedback and collaborate with manufacturing to improvesealingprocessesand adhesive applications. 
  • Support repair procedures for water leak issues from launch phase to mass production. 
  • Train new hires from quality/production on vehicle Inspection methods and acceptance criteria. 

Skills:

  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
  • Hand-on experience with Water Leak testing, measurement equipment and troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of NVH testing methodologies (order tracking, FFT analysis, transfer path analysis, etc).
  • Familiarity with Electrical Vehicle Water Leak testing.
  • Good verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Strong analytical and diagnosis skills.
  • Cross-functional Team player
  • Creative, energetic, self-motivated and highly organized.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Diploma or Industrial School Graduate (Electrical or Mechanic).
  • 5+ years of experience in Automotive with OEM is a must. Greenfield Plant is a Plus.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in the same role is a Must.
  • Good verbal, written, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple simultaneous projects.
  • Ability to lead complex issues and communicate with different levels of the organization

Compensation& Benefits:  Lucid offers a comprehensive and competitive  benefits package  including medical, dental, and vision insurance; life and disability coverage; paid time off; paid holidays, paid sick leave; and a 401(k) retirement plan. Hourly/non-exempt employees accrue up to 120 hours paid time off, and salaried/exempt employee accrue up to 160 hours paid time off.  Eligible employees may also participate in Lucid’s equity program and/or a discretionary annual cash incentive program. Incentive and equity awards, if applicable, are determined based on individual performance, role scope, market considerations, and overall company results, in accordance with the terms of the applicable plans.
