Founded by Dr. Sipra Laddha and Dr. Shama Rathi, two psychiatrists who saw the gaps in maternal mental health care firsthand, we're building the infrastructure they wished they had.

Job Overview

We’re looking for a Full Stack Developer with 6+ years of experience to help us build and scale the software that powers our patient and clinician experiences. You'll work closely with our Product, Design, and Clinical teams to bring powerful, user-centered features to life, from onboarding systems to personalized care tools.

This is a unique opportunity to apply your technical expertise in a purpose-driven environment where you'll directly contribute to our mission of supporting the mental health journeys of one million women. The ideal candidate is adaptable, collaborative, and excited about building scalable, secure, and impactful digital health applications to integrate AI capabilities.

In your first 30 days, you will ship our new automated postpartum screening tool. By day 90, you'll own the migration of our clinician dashboard to a more performant real-time architecture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain full-stack features for our web-based platforms
• Write clean, modular, and testable code using best practices
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality features
• Implement and manage cloud infrastructure and deployments (AWS)
• Build and integrate third-party APIs for scheduling, billing, or communication
• Manage version control and review processes via GitHub
• Own our production availability and infrastructure-as-code deployments.
• Identify and resolve technical issues across the stack
• Suggest and implement AI-powered features to enhance personalization and automation.
• Manage our AWS environment supporting 10k+ monthly patient sessions and ensure HIPAA-compliant data handling for our growing clinician network.
• You will own the security and HIPAA compliance of our AWS environment, ensuring that 10k+ patient sessions remain private and performant.

Qualifications:

• We need someone who has navigated the complexities of scaling AWS infrastructure and managing state in complex React applications.
• Strong proficiency in React. Typescript (or similar frameworks)
• Understanding of REST APIs and microservices
• Experience with AWS (EC2, RDS, S3, etc.)
• Familiarity with databases (SQL and NoSQL)
• Comfortable using GitHub, CI/CD workflows, and agile tools like Asana
• Ability to break down technical requirements
• Passion for mental health, women’s health, and social impact.

Nice to Haves:

• Experience in digital health, telehealth, or healthcare systems
• Knowledge of HIPAA compliance or handling sensitive data
• Exposure to AI/ML tools (OpenAI, Hugging Face, etc.)
• Experience with consumer products
• Familiarity with remote startup environments
• Proactivity and ownership.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Compensation Range: $2,000 - 2,500+ per month, based on location, experience, qualifications, and applicable federal and state minimum wage requirements.

Interview Process

• HR Screen:

  The first phase involves an initial screening with HR. During this stage, we will discuss your experience, skills, and alignment with LunaJoy’s values and culture. This step ensures that you meet the basic qualifications and provides an opportunity for you to learn more about the company and the role.

• Second Phase with Hiring Manager:

  Candidates who pass the HR screen will move on to an interview with the Hiring Manager. In this phase, we dive deeper into your technical abilities, role-specific competencies, and how you approach challenges. The Hiring Manager will assess your fit within the team and your ability to contribute to LunaJoy’s mission.

• Offer Stage:

  After the second phase, successful candidates will move to the offer stage. We will present a formal offer that includes compensation, benefits, and any additional details about the role. This is also your opportunity to ask any final questions before making your decision.

• Onboarding & Training:

  Once the offer is accepted, the onboarding process begins. You will be guided through setting up tools, learning about LunaJoy’s systems and workflows, and engaging in any role-specific training. This phase ensures a smooth transition into your new role, setting you up for success from day one.
