You will be the last line of defense, ensuring our AI intake accurately triages high-risk clinical scenarios.

Our founders, Dr. Sipra Laddha and Shama Rathi, started LunaJoy after seeing thousands of women struggle to navigate a fragmented maternal mental health system.

Job Overview

We are looking for a QA Engineer to join our growing team. As a QA Engineer, you will have the opportunity to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products by meticulously identifying and documenting defects, creating comprehensive test cases, and executing thorough testing processes. You will work closely with development teams, product managers, and other stakeholders to achieve a seamless and high-performing user experience for our clients and customers. You will design automated tests to validate our AI-driven intake suggestions, ensuring clinical safety and accuracy for thousands of daily patient interactions.

Required Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in Quality Assurance or Software Testing roles.
• Strong knowledge of manual testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.
• Hands-on experience with automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar).
• Proficiency in at least one scripting or programming language (e.g., Python, JavaScript, Java).
• Familiarity with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, Rest Assured, or similar).
• Experience writing and maintaining test plans, test cases, and bug reports.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum or Kanban).
• Ability to perform regression, smoke, integration, and exploratory testing.

  Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems like Git.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).
• Knowledge of database querying (e.g., SQL) to validate backend data.
• Familiarity with test management tools (e.g., TestRail, Zephyr, or Xray).
• Exposure to mobile testing (iOS/Android) is a plus.
• ISTQB or similar certification is a plus.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Compensation Range: $1,500 - $2,000 per month, based on the individual's location, experience, qualifications, and applicable federal and state minimum wage requirements.

Interview Process

• HR Screen:

  The first phase involves an initial screening with HR. During this stage, we will discuss your experience, skills, and alignment with LunaJoy’s values and culture. This step ensures that you meet the basic qualifications and provides an opportunity for you to learn more about the company and the role.

• Second Phase with Hiring Manager:

  Candidates who pass the HR screen will move on to an interview with the Hiring Manager. In this phase, we dive deeper into your technical abilities, role-specific competencies, and how you approach challenges. The Hiring Manager will assess your fit within the team and your ability to contribute to LunaJoy’s mission.

• Offer Stage:

  After the second phase, successful candidates will move to the offer stage. We will present a formal offer that includes compensation, benefits, and any additional details about the role. This is also your opportunity to ask any final questions before making your decision.

• Onboarding & Training:

  Once the offer is accepted, the onboarding process begins. You will be guided through setting up tools, learning about LunaJoy’s systems and workflows, and engaging in any role-specific training. This phase ensures a smooth transition into your new role, setting you up for success from day one.
