The Project Controls Engineer plays a critical role in the monitoring and control of large-scale projects and capital investments. This position is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting project data to support informed decision-making. Working closely with the Project Manager, the Project Controls Engineer maintains an integrated view of the project.

• Act as a key member of the project team, providing guidance and support to the Project Manager in all project controls and monitoring activities
• Understand the technical aspects and interdependencies of the project and translate them into an integrated project schedule
• Lead and manage the project planning and control process throughout the project lifecycle
• Prepare forecasts, management reports, and performance analyses to support project governance and decision-making
• Conduct specialized project control analyses, including Earned Value Management (EVM) and risk analysis
• Monitor and analyze project performance related to schedule, cost, scope, and risk
• Advise the Project Manager and project team on potential claims, variations, change requests, and contractual impacts
• Provide accurate and timely project information to support strategic and operational decisions
• Utilize and maintain project management software tools, including Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project

• Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering and Management, or a related engineering discipline
• Strong understanding of project planning and project controls methodologies
• Experience or strong interest in project management and project performance monitoring
• Proficiency in project management software, particularly Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project
• Ability to analyze complex project data and produce meaningful management reports
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Self-driven, proactive, and able to work independently
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Affinity for both technical and management environments
• Flexible and adaptable, with a willingness to work across different industries and project types
• Entrepreneurial mindset and alignment with a people-focused organizational culture
• Fluent in Portuguese and English
