  • Support, maintain, and troubleshoot interfaces between ETRM/CTRM platforms, risk and scheduling tools, financial systems, compliance applications, and third-party data providers.
  • Provide end-to-end ownership of integration incidents, including triage, root cause analysis, and permanent remediation.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define integration requirements and develop scalable solutions.
  • Maintain and optimize complex trading data models (e.g., ERCOT, ISO/RTO structures, forward curves, settlement data, pricing feeds).
  • Monitor integration performance and proactively identify issues such as mapping failures, workflow breaks, data quality anomalies, latency, or messaging errors.
  • Administer integration and middleware technologies including Azure Integration Services, message queues, API gateways, and ETL tools.
  • Design and support scalable integration workflows that enable high-volume trading, pricing, and risk calculations.
  • Oversee integration-related deployments, configuration changes, version upgrades, and regression testing.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation including integration diagrams, data flow maps, runbooks, and troubleshooting guides.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance automation, data integrity, observability, and system resilience.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory, cybersecurity, and data-governance controls across the integration landscape.

Area of Expertise, Requirements

  • Deep understanding of front , mid , and back office trading data flows and how they interact across systems.
  • Proficiency with:

o Integration frameworks (Azure Integration Services)

o Message queues and brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ, Service Bus)

o SQL, data modeling, and database troubleshooting

o Log analysis and application observability tools (AppDynamics or similar)

  • Proven ability to resolve integration issues quickly in high pressure, time sensitive environments.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting capabilities with a focus on data integrity and system reliability.
  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills across trading, risk, operations, and IT groups.
