Head - AI & Data Science

Responsibilities:

• Own Enterprise AI/ML Delivery: Drive successful execution of existing customer engagements, ensuring reliable live deployments, delivery excellence, and strong customer relationships.
• Build and Lead High-Impact Teams: Lead and scale Data Science Leads and Applied ML Scientists, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and measurable business impact.
• Turn Business Challenges into AI Solutions: Partner with enterprise customers and product teams to identify opportunities and lead the journey from problem definition and model development to production deployment and continuous improvement.
• Shape AI/ML Platform Capabilities: Work closely with Platform Engineering to influence platform priorities, translate delivery requirements into technical needs, and improve the effectiveness of AI/ML solutions.
• Be the Face of AI/ML Innovation: Engage with senior customer stakeholders, communicate technical possibilities in business terms, and demonstrate the value of AI-driven solutions.

Requirements:

• 15+ years of experience in data science, machine learning, or applied AI, including significant leadership experience.
• Strong production-grade AI/ML expertise with a track record of taking AI-powered products and solutions from development to deployment for external enterprise customers.
• Experience leading client-facing data science or applied ML teams and managing delivery commitments, timelines, and stakeholder expectations.
• Ability to translate complex business challenges into practical AI/ML initiatives that deliver measurable commercial value.
• Strong technical leadership, team-building, mentoring, and executive communication skills.
• The ability to balance strategic thinking, technical depth, customer engagement, and delivery ownership.
