2+ years’ experience in Quality Engineering and Test Automation, with strong hands-on expertise in modern automation frameworks such as Playwright, Serenity, Pytest, Cucumber, or similar tools.
Proficiency in Python and/or JavaScript/TypeScript, with experience developing and maintaining scalable automation frameworks, applying test automation best practices, and ensuring high code quality.
Proven experience automating functional, regression, integration, API, and end-to-end testing across microservices-based and cloud-native applications.
Strong understanding of modern testing practices, including BDD, TDD, Shift-Left Testing, Risk-Based Testing, and SQL/database validation across data warehouses, lakes, and enterprise platforms.
Experience leveraging AI-assisted engineering tools to enhance test design, automation development, and maintenance, with exposure to AI agents, MCP, and agentic workflows viewed favourably.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills; experience with CI/CD pipelines, Docker/Kubernetes, AWS/GCP, Jira/Xray, and financial services or asset management domains is advantageous.
