Key Responsibilities
Air Export Operations
- Coordinate the booking of shipments with air carriers for export, ensuring optimal routing and cost-effectiveness
- Prepare and process all necessary export documentation, including air waybills, invoices, packing lists, and certificates of origin
- Ensure that shipments comply with international trade regulations and customer requirements
- Monitor the status of export shipments, provide updates to clients, and resolve any issues that may arise
Customer Service and Communication
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients regarding their air export shipments
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a timely and professional manner
- Develop and maintatin strong relationships with clients, airlines, and customs authorities, and third-party vendors
Cost Management and optimization
- Adhere to rates from Air procurment team on air carriers, and other service providers to achieve the best possible pricing
- Review and approve freight invoices, ensuring charges align with agreed-upon rates and services rendered.
Compliance and Risk Management
- Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, customs requirements, and corporate policies
- Maintatin accurate records of all transactions, following company and regulatory guidelines for documentation retention
What We’re Looking For
- Proficiency in airfreight mgmt. system and tools
- Strong knowledge of international trade regulations, customs processes, and shipping documentation
- Understanding of incoterms, tariff classifications, and HS CODES
- Familiarity with handling DG and compliance requirements
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Analytical and problem-Solving skills • CargoWise One skills preferred
