Purpose of the Role
- You will be part of our Air Logistics team, adding your pricing expertise + skills to the delivery of our growth objectives.
- Your primary objective will be to deliver against our growth strategy by ensuring that pricing support to business development is a priority + key factor in the procurement exercise to gaining + retaining volumes.
- Closely collaborate with other teams within and across Gateway/Global tender team/Commercial team...etc.
Key Responsibilities
- To seek insight into customer + related information to ensure the appropriate pricing solutions are offered.
- To incorporate carrier updates + market changes knowledge received in the pricing solutions being offered.
- To proactively share information on target customers from a pricing perspective, keeping our procurement teams well informed on target business to support carrier discussions.
- To include alternative pricing options, providing development teams with enough flexibility when engaging with customers.
- Work closely with airlines to obtain market best Airfreight Cost (ad-hoc or long term).
- To share input with the Gateway Manager as preparation for participation in procurement/carrier discussions, helping to build solutions for our customers.
- To support trade lane promotions based on knowledge of market gained from our development + procurement teams to help build additional business volumes.
What We’re Looking For
Experience
- Minimum 1 experience in air freight / forwarding.
Language
- The position requires good written and verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively in a diverse multicultural environment.
- Fluency in English and local language.
Computer
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications(Excel, Word, Powerpoint..etc) and other technical software精通Microsoft Office
- The ability to effectively use technology (laptop phone, etc.) to communicate and maintain productivity while travelling is required.
