Job Responsibilities:
We are seeking motivated Accounts Payable Associates to join our new Shared Service Center team. You will support Magna in optimizing global financial operations in SAP S/4HANA, ensuring timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices and payments, and contributing to the harmonization of AP processes across countries such as Germany, Austria, Slovakia, Italy, and Switzerland.
Main Duties
- Process vendor invoices and execute payments in a timely and accurate manner
- Reconcile vendor accounts and resolve discrepancies
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities related to Accounts Payable
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and internal controls
- Collaborate with internal departments (e.g. Procurement, Controlling, HR, IT)
- Contribute to documentation and standardization of AP procedures
- Respond to internal and external inquiries regarding AP transactions
Education
- Completed commercial education or equivalent qualification in finance, accounting, or business administration
Work Experience
- Initial experience in Accounts Payable or general accounting preferred
- Experience in a Shared Service Center or international environment is a plus
Skills
- Strong attention to detail and affinity for numbers
- Hands-on mentality and proactive approach
- Team player with good communication skills
- Structured and independent working style
- Proficiency in SAP S/4HANA and MS Office (especially Excel)
- Good English skills (written and oral); German or other languages beneficial
