Job Responsibilities:

• To repair and troubleshoot base building and facilities equipment efficiently, safely and in accordance with the electrical codes

Minimum Requirements

• Salary starting at $48.01 per hour.
• Immediate, open position.
• Certified Electrician (309A).

• Minimum five years’ experience in an industrial environment preferably in automotive or fast paced environment.

• Physically capable of performing essential duties of the job.

• Working with heights and confined space.

• Previous experience with base building facilities systems, medium voltage, water cooling systems, compressed air systems, cranes.

• Good interpersonal and communication skills and is results oriented.

• Has an exemplary attitude towards housekeeping, safety, and company policies.

• Commitment to continuous improvement and workplace safety.
• Basic computer skills.

Job Specific Responsibilities

• Understands and reads all schematics and drawings associated with the trade.

• Build new machinery and equipment with minimum supervision.

• Troubleshoots actives and new machinery and equipment with minimum supervision.

• Committed to continuous improvement on machinery, equipment, processes, and PM system.

• Basic PLC and troubleshooting.
• Trains apprentices in all aspects of machine and equipment, repair, and safety.

General Responsibilities

• Able to use all equipment and machinery related to the trade requirements.
• Meets schedules set by Maintenance Team leaders.

• Work within the guidelines of the Karmax Employee Handbook.

• IATF16949 & ISO14001 awareness and adherence.

• Accepts personal responsibility to plan and conduct their work safely in compliance with the Occupational Health & Safety Act as well as company policies and guidelines.

• Responsible for Good House Keeping in your area.
