Job Responsibilities:

Education and/or Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a Quality related field or an equivalent combination of education and work experience in a Quality Engineering role
• Strong leadership and team building skills, minimum 2 years in supervisory position with direct responsibility for staff.
• Must be proficient with a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, and database software.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Quality team through daily work assignments, project management, training, and performance feedback.
• Oversee EOL, H-Point, BSR, and appearance testing activities, ensuring compliance with customer requirements.
• Manage measurement system accuracy and compliance through MSA activities, calibration programs, equipment traceability, and investigation of measurement-related nonconformities with corrective actions.
• Ensure data integrity and quality issue resolution by maintaining accurate records, test traceability, and participating in daily operations and fast response processes to address internal and external customer quality concerns (VOC).
• Drive the plant quality operating system through fast response, Paynter charts, quality mapping, and continuous improvement initiatives to address internal and external quality concerns.
• Develop, implement, and maintain quality systems and controls, including CTQ maps, NOACs, Red Rabbit audits, Poka-Yoke verification, LPAs, Control Plans, Process Flows, and PFMEAs.
• Analyze quality performance using data-driven metrics, capability studies, warranty data, supplier performance, and cost of quality measures to achieve KOI and business objectives.
• Partner with operations, engineering, customers, and suppliers to resolve quality issues, drive corrective and preventive actions (8D, A3, RCA), and improve process stability and product quality.
• Lead internal, customer, supplier, MAFACT, and IATF 16949 audits, ensuring compliance, audit readiness, and effective execution of quality management system requirements.
