Key Responsibilities
Project Transition State:
Supporttransition of GL activities from local entities into shared services, including process mapping, knowledge transfer, and stabilization (hyper care).
Plan and manage ramp-up of operations, including hiring, onboarding, training, and scaling team capacity in line with transition waves.
Ensure smooth handover and service continuity, meeting SLAs during transition and post-go-live phases.
Drive standardization and harmonization of processes across entities during migration.
Monitor transition KPIs (e.g., stabilization timelines, error rates, productivity ramp-up) and implement corrective actions as needed.
Standard Operations:
Lead GLclose activities, including journal entries, accruals, reclassifications, and close calendar execution.
Review balance sheet reconciliations, account analyses, bank reconciliations, and close-related schedules.
EnsureGL postings, reconciliations, reporting packs, and supporting documentation are accurate, complete, and compliant.
Support financial reporting, variance analysis, management reporting, statutory/corporate reporting schedules, and audit requirements.
Ensure compliance with accounting policies, internal controls, SOX or equivalent control requirements, and applicable accounting standards.
Support internal and external audits, including audit schedules, evidence preparation, query resolution, and remediation tracking.
Lead standardization, automation, SOP documentation, KPI/SLA tracking, and continuous improvement across GL/R2R processes.
Manage stakeholder coordination with local finance, controllers, corporate finance, FP&A, tax, treasury, AP/AR, IT, and auditors.
Lead and develop a team including workload planning, task allocation, performance management, coaching, cross-training, succession planning, and escalation management.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Commerce, or related field.
8-10 years of experience in GL accounting, Record-to-Report, corporate accounting, or finance shared services.
Strong experience with close, journal entries, reconciliations, reporting, audit support, controls, and compliance.
Demonstrated experience leading larger accounting teams, preferably around 10-15team members.
Experience in multinational, shared servicestransition, corporate finance, or multi-entity environments preferred.
Technical Skills
Strong ERP experience, preferably SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, Oracle, or equivalent.
Advanced Excel skills and experience with reporting / BI tools such as Power BI.
Preferred exposure to OneStream, or similar reconciliation, close, consolidation, and reporting tools.
Strong understanding of accounting standards, internal controls, close governance, reconciliations, and audit documentation.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Ability to manage deadlines, escalations, and competing priorities during close andaudit cycles.
