Senior Engineer

Join our SpringServe Ad Server team as a Senior Engineer, where you will work on a globally distributed ad serving system that handles hundreds of billions of requests daily. You will participate in the full-stack design, development, testing, release, and maintenance of a core product offering related to a critical advertising server and buying platform. You will manage individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables, and work collaboratively with multiple teams to deliver quality software.

Missions

• Participate in the full-stack design, development, testing, release, and maintenance of a core product offering as it relates to a critical advertising server and buying platform.
• Manage individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables with your technical expertise, and translate business requirements into technical designs and project plans.
• Write production-ready code and unit tests that meet both system and business requirements, and respond to feature requests, bug reports, performance issues, and ad-hoc questions.

Profil recherché

- A strong understanding of algorithms, data structures, and an ability to recognize the business and technical trade-offs between different solutions

- Ability to context switch and manage competing priorities

- BA/BS degree in Computer Science or related technical field or equivalent practical experience

- Postgres or other Relational DB experience with SQL and Table design

- 5+ years of relevant work experience in software development

- Experience with agile development and CI tools like git, a build management system like Jenkins, and Jira

- Development experience in Java for back-end development with a strong understanding of asynchronous programming

- General Ad Technology experience, ideally with header bidding technologies in a production environment
