Lead Full Stack Developer

We are looking for a Lead Full Stack Engineer who thrives on building products from the ground up and continuously shipping new features. This role is backend-heavy, requiring deep expertise in Node.js and distributed system design, while also contributing across the stack. You will architect, build, and scale core platform capabilities while staying deeply hands-on. You'll shape system design, raise the engineering bar, and mentor developers, all while consistently delivering high-quality, production-ready features.

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and continuously ship product features across the stack with a strong backend focus and a payment focus.
• Architect scalable backend systems, RESTful/GraphQL APIs, and microservices using Node.js, Express.js, and NestJS.
• Lead system design and architectural decisions for complex modules, including database modeling and third-party service integrations.
• Strong expertise in modern frontend technologies, including JavaScript/TypeScript and React.js/Next.js, with hands-on experience in building scalable, high-performance user interfaces.
• Champion engineering excellence through rigorous code reviews, technical mentorship, and continuous system optimization.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product, design, and infrastructure teams to drive end-to-end feature ownership.
• Proven experience in payment gateway integration and digital payment ecosystem solutions.

Requirements:

• 6+ years building production-grade applications with deep expertise in Node.js and backend systems.
• Proven track record designing scalable architectures, distributed systems, and high-performance APIs.
• Strong hands-on experience with PostgreSQL: schema design, query optimization, and indexing strategies.
• Experience with cloud environments (AWS or Azure) and CI/CD-driven development workflows.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field (a master's is a plus).
