About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Localization Content Manager to lead the Korean content strategy and content pipelines for a widely used DevOps platform. This is a net-new role: you will launch the Korean blog and build the Korean content program from the ground up. You will be the steward of the brand voice in Korean, advise on content governance and market approach, and keep the brand consistent across a globally distributed team and multiple publishing workstreams. You will report to a senior localization content lead and work closely with the growing local sales and go-to-market (GTM) teams in Korea.
Key Responsibilities
- Launch and run the Korean blog, publishing 3-4 articles per week through a mix of AI-first translation with human post-editing, transcreation of English content, and original keyword-driven content built around GTM priorities
- Define the content strategy for the market with regional stakeholders, with particular emphasis on organic traffic and search optimization across both Naver and Google
- Manage the editorial calendar and report regularly on project status and performance to key stakeholders
- Build and maintain the Korean keyword strategy, and publish localized and original SEO-driven posts on the blog
- Own the end-to-end Korean customer journey (marketing site, blog, and product docs), identifying gaps and driving fixes
- Oversee localized content for quality and terminology; define and promote the Korean style guide and voice and tone, and work with the localization team to apply them consistently across localized content surfaces, which is key for generative AI capabilities
- Run a regular cadence of experiments focused on improving conversions, adoption, and growth
- Identify, develop, and implement content opportunities across channels, and build reporting dashboards (for example, GA4 and Looker Studio) shared with stakeholders weekly or monthly
- Coordinate with a local content and SEO agency and occasional vendors as needed
- Partner closely with local sales and GTM teams, and with the growth team as needed, to align content with regional priorities
- Take part in market research and develop ideas to improve the impact of content on funnel performance
- Collaborate closely with English content teams to keep strategy aligned and processes followed
What Success Looks Like in Your First 3 Months
- The Korean blog is live and publishing regularly
- A keyword strategy is in place
- A working relationship is established with the local GTM team
- Reporting is built and shared weekly or monthly
Qualifications
Required
- 5+ years of combined experience in localization (translation, post-editing, quality review) and content marketing or SEO, especially in the tech industry
- Experience with all components of interdepartmental localized collateral, including product, marketing, and support
- Strong hands-on experience with AI tools for translation and content creation, and comfort building new AI-first workflows in place of traditional localization tools and processes
- Experience working with Git, or a demonstrated ability to learn new technology quickly
- Hands-on experience with Google Analytics (GA4) and dashboarding (for example, Looker Studio), plus SEO tools such as SEMrush or Ahrefs
- Experience overseeing the end-to-end in-language customer journey, with an eye toward user experience and business impact
- Working knowledge of SEO best practices, including Naver search optimization
- Strong communication skills
- Professional working fluency in English
- Native or near-native fluency in Korean
- Deep understanding of the Korean market, including local expectations and trends
- Based in Korea (strongly preferred) or elsewhere in Asia-Pacific and Japan; this role is not open to candidates based in Europe or the Americas
