Senior Accountant

Senior Accountant Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing financial statements, reports, and reconciliations.
• Record daily transactions, including accounts payable and receivable.
• Ensure accuracy in financial documentation and maintain proper filing systems.
• Assist in budget tracking, cost analysis, and variance reporting.
• Support tax filings and ensure compliance with Ethiopian tax regulations.
• Collaborate with procurement, supply chain, and other departments to track financial activities.
• Assist in internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation.

 Highly Desired:

• Expertise in:
• Microsoft office applications like Excel, Word…
• in English language, both oral and written
• Strong analytical and numerical skills.
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.

Education & Training:

• Qualified with BA Degree in Finance and Accounting from a recognized higher institutions
• Acquainted with the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)

Experience:

• At least 2 years work experience in HR and Admin Assistant position
