Courier Operations Clerk

Manpower Malta is seeking to recruit a Courier Operations Clerk to join our client's team.

The successful candidate will support the day-to-day running of courier operations, working closely with the Operations Team Leader to ensure deliveries and collections are coordinated efficiently. This is a hands-on position combining operational coordination, customer service, administration, driver communication and warehouse support.

The role is ideal for a well-organised and proactive individual who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and resolving day-to-day operational issues.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate daily deliveries and collections, monitor delivery progress and communicate with drivers regarding routes, workloads and operational queries.
• Handle customer enquiries professionally, provide delivery updates and assist with resolving delivery-related issues.
• Support warehouse activities including receiving, sorting, scanning, organising and dispatching parcels.
• Process shipments, update delivery information, maintain accurate records and complete general administrative tasks using relevant computer systems.
• Identify and help resolve delivery delays, parcel discrepancies and other operational issues while ensuring effective communication between customers, drivers, warehouse staff and colleagues.

Key Requirements:

• Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively in a busy environment.
• Good IT literacy and confidence using computers, email and standard office applications.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with a professional and customer-focused approach.
• Practical, proactive and hands-on attitude with strong attention to detail and a sense of responsibility.
• Previous experience in courier services, logistics, transport coordination or warehousing will be considered an asset; a valid driving licence would also be advantageous.
