For Season 2027, we are looking for an experienced and motivated Housekeeping Team Leader to join the Housekeeping team at MarBella in Corfu.

The Role

As a Housekeeping Team Leader, you will play an important role in ensuring that every guest room and hotel area reflects MarBella’s high standards of cleanliness, comfort and attention to detail.

Working closely with the Housekeeping management team, you will coordinate daily assignments, supervise and support your team, monitor quality standards and help ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the department.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who combines strong organisational skills, attention to detail and a genuine ability to guide and motivate people.

Here’s what a typical day at MarBella could look like:

• You start by reviewing the day’s priorities, room status and team assignments, ensuring workloads are organised efficiently.

• You coordinate and supervise the Housekeeping team, providing clear direction and support throughout the shift.
• You inspect guest rooms, public areas and back-of-house spaces to ensure they meet MarBella’s standards of cleanliness, presentation and comfort.
• You identify any quality or maintenance issues and coordinate with Front Office, Maintenance and other departments to ensure timely follow-up.
• You train, coach and motivate team members, helping them understand and consistently apply Housekeeping, hygiene and safety standards.
• You monitor daily performance and provide constructive feedback and guidance whenever needed.
• You respond to guest requests, special requirements and Housekeeping-related concerns promptly, professionally and with care.
• You monitor cleaning supplies, linen and guest amenities, supporting effective stock and inventory management.
• You help ensure that laundry and linen operations are carried out according to hotel standards.
• You maintain compliance with health and safety regulations, hygiene procedures and hotel policies.
• You encourage clear communication, teamwork and mutual support within the department.
• Above all, you lead by example, bringing Mar-Bella Collection’s standards of care, professionalism and hospitality to life every day.

Is This You?

Essential qualifications:

• Previous experience in a Housekeeping Team Leader, Housekeeping Supervisor or similar supervisory role, preferably within a hotel or hospitality environment.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to guide, support and motivate a team.
• Excellent attention to detail and a strong focus on cleanliness, quality and guest satisfaction.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills.
• Ability to coordinate daily assignments and manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Very good command of Greek and English.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to daily operational challenges.
• Professional, reliable and approachable attitude.
• Ability to perform effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced hospitality environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Additional qualifications - a plus:

• Formal training in Hospitality, Housekeeping Management or a related field.
• Previous experience within a four- or five-star hotel or luxury resort environment.
• Experience with Housekeeping inventory, linen and supply management.
