Process Engineer level II

The Role
The Autonomous operational engineer for all, or part of, an industrialization activity and process engineering team. Ensures the development of the strategy defined by management. Develops, implements, and maintains manufacturing processes and tooling for a production line, from the prototype phase to the product's end-of-life. Lead industrial transfer of complex processes to support industrial roadmap 2027/2029.
What you will do:
- Supervises activities defining new manufacturing processes for MI printers through new product development projects.
- Manage projects for implementing industrial resources (cross-functional management, schedule, and cost management).
- Support SME to:
- Supervises monitoring and improvement activities for mass production processes of Markem-Imaje group printers and consumables.
- Analyzes process deviation and troubleshoot using a continuous improvement approach.
- Improves industrialization and adapts production equipment; conducts feasibility studies, proposes areas for improvement, and collaborates on designing routings and procedures.
- Prepares specifications, technical reports, protocols, operating instructions, manufacturing files, and investment costing for production equipment.
- Organizes change management according to the "Change Request - Change Order" process, and contributes to solving technical problems.
- Trains SME's and supports local printer manufacturing teams (China, India, USA, France, Singapore).
- Leads technical meetings between departments involved in production optimization, provides technical assistance to engineers, designs training modules, and sets up a feedback system to identify issues. (Cross functional work with R&D, SQE…)
- Challenges engineering design choices based on objective data: costs (labor time), quality (FPY, CP, PFMEA), and production lead times.
- Conducts analyses to identify root causes of technical production issues unresolved by SMEs.
- Identifies and implements associated technical solutions. Updates PFMEAs to support future developments.
- Performs technological monitoring on developments and innovations within the sector, and creates or updates the document database.
- Integrates ISO quality frameworks and requirements, as well as regulatory standards (BRC - Food Safety Management, HS&E, etc.).
- Supervises testing and fine-tuning phases for processes, and studies technological solutions to reduce industrial risks and improve production process reliability.
What you need to have:
- Multiple technical skills are required for the Process Engineer position.
- Must master medium and long-term industrial strategy & deployment.
- Must master lean manufacturing, statistics applied to management of production line, technical aspects of manufacturing and production equipment, and continuous improvement or quality projects.
- Advanced knowledge in implementing and maintaining production lines.
- Advanced knowledge in deploying supply chain projects.
- Automation skillset knowledge (moving from a manual / semi-Manual operation factory to automated & smart factory model).
- Knowledge in modelling, design (CAD, etc.) and general knowledge of physics, applied mathematics, and industrial IT.
- English required (Spoken, Read, and Written).
