The F&B Intern will work directly with the Food & Beverage Manager and support the day-to-day operation across the different F&B areas of the hotel.
The internship will provide exposure to the full F&B operation, including Breakfast, Restaurants, Bars, Pool, Events & Banqueting, In-Room Dining, Amenities and Minibar.
The Intern will be involved in the operation and will support the teams where needed, gaining practical experience of how a luxury hotel F&B department operates on a daily basis.
Main Responsibilities:
- Support the F&B Manager and outlet teams with the daily operation.
- Assist with opening and closing of outlets.
- Support the preparation and set-up of Breakfast, Restaurants, Bars, Pool and Events.
- Assist during service and support the team during busy periods.
- Help maintain the presentation, cleanliness and organization of the outlets.
- Assist with buffet setup and replenishment during Breakfast.
- Support Pool operations, including preparation and replenishment.
- Assist with events, including setup, service and breakdown.
- Support In-Room Dining operations and tray collection.
- Prepare and deliver guest amenities according to the required standards.
- Restock and inspect minibars.
- Check minibar presentation, product availability, cleanliness and expiry dates.
- Assist with stock replenishment and basic inventory tasks.
- Support daily checklists and other operational controls.
- Report any operational issues, guest requests or maintenance concerns to the relevant supervisor or F&B Manager.
- Follow all hotel and F&B standards, procedures and food safety requirements.
- Maintain a professional appearance and attitude at all times.
- Provide a friendly and professional service to guests when interacting with them.
Learning & Development
During the internship, the Intern will rotate through the different F&B areas and gain an understanding of how the operation works as a whole.
The Intern will have the opportunity to learn about:
- Restaurant and bar operations

- Pool service
- Events and banqueting
- In-Room Dining
- Minibar and amenities
- Guest service
- Stock and inventory
- F&B standards and procedures
- Team coordination
- Daily operational planning
The Intern will also have several sessions with the Director of Food & Beverage. These sessions will provide an insight into the management side of the department, including leadership, people management, financial control, labour planning, guest experience, commercial performance and the day-to-day decisions involved in running an F&B operation.
Requirements:
- Currently studying Hospitality, Hotel Management, Tourism or a related field.
- Genuine interest in Food & Beverage and luxury hospitality.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to learn and work across different areas of the operation.
- Reliable, organized and proactive.
- Professional presentation.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Good level of English. Additional languages are an advantage.
Main Objective
