Join Mastercard's Security Solutions Organization (SSO) as a Principal Software Engineer. In this strategic role, you will shape technical architecture, solution patterns, and engineering approaches for key initiatives. You will collaborate with various teams to turn business opportunities into practical architecture concepts and prototypes. Your responsibilities will include defining solution architectures, enabling the product development lifecycle, building prototypes, and communicating technical concepts to diverse audiences. A strong background in software architecture, PDLC experience, and knowledge of modern architecture and security is required. Experience in payments, commerce, fraud, identity, cybersecurity, or trust platforms is preferred.

  • Definir arquitecturas de solución, patrones reutilizables y componentes compartidos en iniciativas de SSO.
  • Aplicar una sólida experiencia en el ciclo de vida del desarrollo de productos para mover iniciativas desde el concepto hasta la preparación para la producción.
  • Construir prototipos y pruebas de concepto para validar supuestos de arquitectura y demostrar viabilidad.

Profil recherché

- Strong background as a software architect, principal engineer, or senior technical lead

- Strong PDLC experience across discovery, architecture, delivery, and production readiness

- Deep knowledge of modern architecture, APIs, distributed systems, cloud-native platforms, and security

- Strong communicator across engineering, product, business, and executive audiences

- Extensive experience designing, building, and supporting production software

- Skilled at translating complex needs into practical technical approaches

- Comfortable using AI-assisted coding tools to accelerate development and validation

- Able to influence technical direction across teams without direct authority

- Experience in payments, commerce, fraud, identity, cybersecurity, or trust platforms preferred

- Hands-on experience building prototypes, proofs of concept, or reference implementations

- Experience with agentic commerce, AI agents, or generative AI is a strong plus
