As aPeople Team Associate reporting to a People Team Lead, you’ll contribute to company & employee success as a member of the People Team. You’ll join a group of operations professionals supporting talented engineers - all focused on creating best-in-class silicon for high-performance and sustainable GenAI. As part of a small team, you’ll see your ideas come to life, and see real impacts of your work. This role is hybrid (onsite Mon - Thurs) at our office in Mountain View.

What you'll do:

• Contribute to People Team support through tactical execution in areas including:

  • HRIS data entry & management

  • audits & analytics

  • benefits & perks

  • payroll & reimbursements

  • onboarding & offboarding execution

  • feedback / survey support

  • policies

  • vendor management (e.g. swag/gifts)

  • employee support on edge cases & pop-up issues!

• Collaborate with Office Manager and Ops Coordinators to plan of culture events, and support to workplace experience

• Collaborate with People Team Lead, Managers and Team Members to continuously improve and evolve our practices as the company grows

Who you are:

• Max 4 yrs experience doing People Team (HR) work - this is a tactical role!

• You are comfortable balancing (and organizing) the many action items, and moving quickly to support. You have a system for appropriate prioritization and have strong follow-through.

• You have strong critical thinking skills and can absorb information quickly. You can be taught something once, and then do it (without issues/errors) on your own.

• You have a “Get Things Done” mentality. You roll up your sleeves to proactively problem-solve, undeterred by challenges and limitations. The words “that’s not my job” are blasphemy!

• You are excited rather than intimidated by unknowns and how the role will evolve as we grow

• You are a strong communicator, with ability to flex to various styles (since you’ll communicate with everyone in the company).

• You are genuinely interested in people and see support of employees as enabling people’s best work for the success of the company.

• You are able to context switch, shifting between tactical and big-picture. You can toggle between the operational and emotional aspects of HR work with ease.

• You believe that kindness matters. You have a strong regard for the dignity and lived experience of others. You can spot situations at work where kindness and respect may be lacking, and bring it back to basics.

Compensation

The US base salary for this full-time position is determined based on a variety of factors including role, experience, location, job related skills, and relevant education and training. Career length is only a guideline for compensation.

$160,000 - $230,000 + equity

• Cell & Internet Reimbursement: $35/mo for cellular and $40/mo for wifi

• Remote Home Setup: Use our Amazon business account for up to $1000 in office setup purchases.
