## Title: Warehouse Lead About the Role

Maurice Xandra Solutions Limited is recruiting on behalf of its client, a fast-growing wholesaler of solar equipment that also operates a technical training centre in Lagos. The organisation is looking to appoint a Warehouse Lead who is highly organised and comfortable working hands-on within a busy operational environment.

The role holder will take charge of warehouse activities, inventory control, logistics and day-to-day operations, making sure that stock records stay accurate, customer orders are fulfilled on time, deliveries are coordinated efficiently, equipment is handled and stored safely, and the training centre receives dependable operational support.

Key Responsibilities Warehouse and Inventory Management

• Manage the full range of warehouse functions, covering goods receipt, storage, order picking, packing and dispatch.
• Set up and sustain inventory control systems that keep stock records precise and up to date.
• Carry out routine stock counts and investigate and resolve any discrepancies that arise.
• Ensure solar modules, batteries, inverters and related accessories are stored and handled correctly.
• Uphold tidy, well-labelled and well-organised warehouse layouts and housekeeping practices.

Logistics and Supply Chain Coordination

• Coordinate incoming and outgoing shipments together with suppliers, freight partners and customers.
• Plan and monitor delivery schedules to guarantee orders are fulfilled promptly.
• Assist with importation processes, associated documentation and liaison with clearing agents when needed.
• Keep track of logistics expenditure and contribute to cost-efficiency initiatives.

Operational Support and Process Improvement

• Create and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) covering warehouse and operational activities.
• Refine operational workflows so they can accommodate business growth and expansion.
• Facilitate coordination across the sales, technical and training teams.
• Monitor operational KPIs and prepare routine reports for management.

Training Centre and Workshop Support

• Make sure the equipment and materials needed for training programmes are available and ready for use.
• Assist with setting up, dismantling and moving materials for practical training sessions.
