Job Vacancy – Facilities Manager
Job Purpose
The Facilities Manager will be responsible for the effective management, operation and maintenance of the building and its facilities, ensuring safety and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day operation and maintenance of the building and its facilities.
- Oversee building services, including all MEP systems, and ensure compliance with health, safety and statutory requirements.
- Supervise staff, contractors and suppliers, and manage maintenance contracts and operational budgets.
- Ensure prompt resolution of tenant concerns and effective coordination of emergency response.
- Monitor building performance and implement improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
Qualifications and Experience
The ideal candidate should possess:
- A degree or diploma in Facilities Management, Building Services, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Preferably, at least 10 years of relevant post-degree or post-diploma experience in facilities management, building services, engineering or a related field.
- Strong leadership, communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in a senior or managerial facilities management position.
- Experience in managing high-rise building or large commercial facilities.
- Experience in managing contractors, suppliers, maintenance works and operational budgets.
A combination of relevant qualifications and experience will be considered.
