Forward Deployed Software Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Work with Account Executives on complex deal cycles involving multiple stakeholders.
• Run technical proof-of-concept processes and present tailored demos based on customer and business needs.
• Lead technical discovery calls and write the implementation scoping document for each customer launch.
• Tune prompts and models to achieve the right AI performance for each client.
• Build integrations to transaction systems such as revenue, billing, and accounts payable, as well as custom modules customers need to go live.
• Partner with product and engineering to deliver on customer requests and advocate for customer needs.
• Troubleshoot, debug, fix, and upgrade software for reliable production performance, and support deployed solutions over time.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in forward deployed engineering, sales engineering, implementation engineering, or solutions engineering.
• Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline; computer science preferred but not required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and comfort working directly with customers.
• Proficiency in Go, TypeScript, or Python.
• Experience working with account executives on technical sales processes for enterprise customers.
• Proactive, highly motivated, and able to handle the intensity and pace of a startup.
