Job Summary & Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring project QA/QC systems, conducting site inspections, identifying non-conformities, and coordinating with the engineering team.

• Develop and implement quality assurance / quality control (QA/QC) plans.
• Develop and maintain QA/QC policies and continuous improvement frameworks.
• Prepare/review method statements, risk assessments, and material submittals.
• Review/approve materials, workmanship, and installation methods/submittals.
• Identify and register non-conformities, and coordinate corrective and preventive actions.
• Maintain quality records, inspection reports, and test certificates for each project.
• Conduct root-cause analysis and lessons learned workshops to prevent recurring issues.
• Conduct quality audits across active project sites and report findings.
• Conduct inspections on critical construction activities to verify compliance with procedures.
• Advise the Engineering Director on recurring quality issues and recommend process improvements.
• Coordinate with third-party bodies as required.
• Support the preparation of quality documentation required for client or consultant audits.
• Provide training and guidance to site staff on quality standards and procedures.
• Promote a strong quality culture understood and implemented by site personnel.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements & Qualifications

Required Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Experience: 5+ years of relevant experience in engineering/construction, preferably under QA/QC function on large-scale building construction projects.
• Good knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems.
• Familiarity with international and national engineering codes and other applicable construction standards.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.
