THE OPPORTUNITY
The Shop Technician supports the manufacturing and assembly of high-quality aviation products and components in a hands-on shop environment. We are looking for someone who is reliable, hands-on, detail-oriented, and willing to learn. You do not need to know everything about aviation to succeed in this role. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Operational Excellence Execution
- Perform assembly, fabrication, finishing, and other production-related tasks according to established procedures and specifications.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment safely and effectively.
- Measure, fit, drill, trim, sand, fasten, and assemble components as required.
- Read and follow work instructions, drawings, specifications, and production documentation.
- Inspect completed work for quality, accuracy, and proper fit and finish.
- Identify and communicate quality concerns, material issues, or production problems.
- Maintain accurate production and job documentation as required.
- Assist with material preparation, inventory, packaging, shipping, or other shop activities as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Properly use and maintain tools, equipment, and personal protective equipment.
- Follow company safety procedures and quality standards.
- Work collaboratively with other production team members to meet quality and production goals.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support shop and business operations.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous manufacturing, fabrication, mechanical, automotive, aviation, construction, or similar hands-on experience preferred.
- Ability to learn new tools, equipment, and processes.
- Ability to accurately follow verbal instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Dependable attendance and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Ability to safely operate common hand and power tools.
- Willingness to learn and take on a variety of shop responsibilities.

The ideal candidate enjoys working with their hands, has strong attention to detail, and takes pride in producing quality work. Previous manufacturing, fabrication, mechanical, automotive, aviation, or similar shop experience is preferred; however, we are willing to train the right candidate who demonstrates a strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
