About theRole

McKesson is seeking an Accountant to join our Technology Solutions Finance team. This role plays a key part in accounting operations, financial reporting, month-end close, account reconciliations, andfinancialanalysis.Thesuccessfulcandidatewillpartnerwithcross-functionalteamstosupportbusinessperformance,ensureaccuratefinancialreporting,andidentifyopportunitiesforprocessimprovementsandautomation.

WhatYou'llDo

• Performmonth-endandquarter-endcloseactivities,includingjournalentries,accruals,andaccountreconciliations.
• Prepareandanalyzefinancialreports,identifyvariances,andprovideactionableinsightstostakeholders.
• Reviewfinancialtransactionstoensureaccurateaccountingtreatmentandgeneralledgercoding.
• Investigateandresolveaccounting,billing,andreportingissues.
• PartnerwithAccountsPayable,AccountsReceivable,Procurement,Billing,Operations,andotherbusinessteamstosupportfinancialprocesses.
• Develop,maintain,andenhancefinancialreports,dashboards,KPIs,andperformancemetrics.
• Supportsystemimplementations,financetransformationinitiatives,andprocessimprovementprojects.
• Assistwithauditactivities,compliancerequirements,andinternalcontroldocumentation.
• UtilizeSAP,Ariba,andotherfinancialsystemstosupportaccountingoperations.
• Identifyopportunitiestoimproveefficiencythroughautomation,reportingenhancements,andAI-enabledtools.
• Providesupport,guidance,andknowledgesharingacrossfinanceandbusinessteams.

BasicRequirements

• Bachelor'sdegreeinAccounting,Finance,orarelatedfield,oranequivalentcombinationofeducationandexperience.
• CPAdesignationoractivelypursuingCPAcertification.
• Typicallyrequires5+yearsofprogressiveaccountingorfinanceexperience.
• Strongknowledgeofaccountingprinciples,financialreporting,andaccountreconciliationprocesses.
• AdvancedMicrosoftExcelskills,includingPivotTables,VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP,anddataanalysis.
• ExperienceworkingwithERPsystemssuchasSAPorEpicor.
• Stronganalytical,problem-solving,andcommunicationskills.

PreferredSkills&Experience

• Experiencesupportingtechnology,corporatefinance,sharedservices,orlarge-scalebusinessoperations.
• ExperiencewithPowerBI,financialreportingtools,anddashboarddevelopment.
• Experiencesupportingprocessautomationorfinancetransformationinitiatives.
• KnowledgeofAI-enabledtoolsanddigitalsolutionsthatimproveproductivityandoperationalefficiency.
• Experiencecollaboratingwithcross-functionalstakeholdersinacomplexbusinessenvironment.
