Maintenance Coordinator

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Schedule, assign and update maintenance work orders in the CMMS.
• Monitor work order progress and follow up on outstanding or overdue tasks.
• Coordinate site access, permits, parts and other prerequisites for scheduled maintenance.
• Review work orders for completeness and maintain accurate records and supporting documentation.
• Liaise with clients, contractors and site teams to ensure effective communication and coordination.
• Monitor contractor attendance, job completion and performance records.
• Escalate delays, safety concerns and operational issues to management.
• Maintain asset data and support the accuracy of maintenance dashboards and reports.
• Assist with testing system workflows and identifying opportunities for process improvement.

Minimum Requirements

• At least three years’ experience in maintenance coordination, planning or administration within an industrial or service maintenance environment.
• Working knowledge of a CMMS or maintenance management system.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and sites.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accurate administrative skills.

Advantageous Experience

• Experience using MaintainX CMMS.
• Knowledge of permit-to-work procedures and site safety requirements.
• Experience coordinating contractors and monitoring service-level agreements.
• Exposure to electrical maintenance or variable frequency drive (VFD) environments.
