Procurement Officer

Med-In Pharmaceutical Limited is a manufacturer, producer, and distributor of intravenous infusion products. The company is currently looking to fill the role of Procurement Officer.

• Location: Sagamu Interchange, Ogun State, Nigeria
• Employment Type: Full-time

• Locate and assess prospective vendors for pharmaceutical products, raw materials, and services.
• Build and sustain solid working relationships with suppliers to guarantee prompt and economical deliveries.
• Carry out market research to uncover fresh sourcing prospects.
• Acquire materials from both domestic and overseas markets based on requests submitted by various departments.

• Discuss prices, terms, and conditions with suppliers while making sure everything aligns with company policies and regulations.
• Prepare, examine, and oversee contracts and purchase orders to confirm they satisfy company standards and legal obligations.

• Track stock levels and forecasts to maintain sufficient supply without accumulating excess inventory.
• Coordinate with various departments to improve inventory processes and minimize waste.

• Make certain that all purchasing activities and supplier relationships adhere to applicable pharmaceutical regulations and industry standards.
• Keep records pertaining to procurement activities, contracts, and supplier assessments.

• Contribute to budgeting efforts by offering analysis on procurement expenses and spotting possible savings.
• Review expenditure data and patterns to design cost-reduction strategies.

• Partner closely with quality assurance and manufacturing teams to grasp their procurement requirements and secure on-time material delivery.
• Help develop product specifications alongside the relevant departments.

• Evaluate supplier performance on a routine basis using key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Carry out corrective measures informed by performance reviews and feedback.
