Creative Strategist

The role will focus on leading the Brand & Content Development and Audience & Partner Engagement. Working as a team, to keep pivoting, navigate and find solutions to continue to grow digital brands within Mediacorp.

Key Responsibilities

Brand and Content Development

• Oversee to the team in generating and bringing big ideas to life with comfort in digital, social and mobile mediums.
• Able to direct and provide guidance to the team.
• Constantly finding and brainstorming creative innovative ways to ideate and produce digital content.
• Provide strong analysis and content strategies based on the insights provided by Creative Strategist.
• Ensure the appropriateness of all digital content produced.
• Work with Creative Strategist / Creative Producer to produce spreadable innovative and compelling content
• Ensure all content has a multi-platform approach to maximise the viewer experience.
• Establish content schedule and roadmap
• Enhance production and creative efficiency through innovation and adapting new technologies.
• Uncover insights and develop solutions that drive the key business goals

Audience and partner engagement

• Lead the team in developing creative content that appeal to audiences and advertisers
• Ideate with the team to engage users through digital content
• Build and grow relationships with social media influencers, digital content creators, industry professionals and journalists

Foundational Competencies

• A strong understanding of what drives digital content on social media and how it should be presented

• A broad and deep knowledge of digital content and social media trends
• Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro and deep knowledge of editing on Premiere Pro

• Diploma / Degree in Mass Communication / Visual Communication or any related discipline is a plus
• At least 5 to 8 years working experience in digital content creation across various digital platforms
• Experience working with different formats of content, ranging from video and infographics, to podcasts and feature stories of different beats
• Experience in creating both bite-sized and short to medium form content for a digital market
• Proven track record as a creative storyteller
• Developing strategic and creative plans
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Able to multi-task and work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and under pressure
• Creative, technically inclined and able to work well under pressure and tight deadlines.
• Strong industry network is an advantage
