Software Engineer – Integrations & Data

We are looking for a Software Developer – Integrations & Data to join our R&D team at Medikro Oy in Kuopio, Finland.
Your responsibilities
As a Software Engineer, you will develop software interfaces, data exchange solutions, and customer-specific integrations for Medikro’s medical devices and software products.
Your responsibilities will include:
Designing, implementing, and testing integrations between software applications and healthcare information systems.

Developing and maintaining software interfaces and data exchange solutions.

Working with APIs, communication protocols, and structured data formats.

Participating in database-related development and troubleshooting.

Supporting customer-specific integration projects in collaboration with customers and internal technical teams.

Ensuring that integrations are reliable, maintainable, and properly tested and documented.

 You will work closely with our software development team, product management, and customers to deliver practical technical solutions for different operating environments.

You are the right fit for us if you
Have programming experience

Understand software interfaces, system integration, and data exchange.

Have experience with technologies such as REST APIs, TCP/IP, and JSON/XML.

Have a systematic approach to software development, testing, debugging, and documentation.

Enjoy technical problem-solving and working collaboratively with different stakeholders.

Have good written and spoken communication skills in English.

 
We also appreciate if you
Have experience with databases and SQL.

Have worked with healthcare information systems or integrated software into existing IT environments.

Have experience with customer-specific software solutions or system integration projects.

Are familiar with medical device software development or regulated development environments, including IEC 62304.

Have experience troubleshooting communication issues between software applications and external systems.
