Reporting to the Senior Marketing Manager, the Senior Marketing Specialist is expected to coordinate and support all aspects of marketing and sales efforts by actively collaborating with marketing and sales staff within the Endovenous (EV) business in South Korea.

To be successful in this role, you must have good business acumen in selling and/or promoting medical devices and have a passion to initiate a marketing program. You’ll work in collaboration with key stakeholders to create synergy and contribute to reinforcing inclusive working culture.

This role is responsible for leading strategic planning and execution to drive business growth within the Endovenous(EV) portfolio. The position plays a key role in shaping market strategy, leading marketing programs and customer engagement initiatives, and ensuring effective commercial execution. It requires close collaboration with the Sales team as well as cross-functional teams, including QRA, SCM, Finance, and Training & Education, and strong communication skills to align diverse stakeholders. Understanding of Superficial Venous Disease (SVD) treatment pathways and product applications is required.The role engages primarily with vascular surgeons, cardiothoracic surgeons, interventional radiologists, and other relevant stakeholders, and reports to the Senior Marketing Manager.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

  • Leads and coordinates product planning, product launches, product management, market development and market research activities.

  • Develops and executes marketing programs to drive awareness, adoption of the EV portfolio.

  • Interacts directly with internal stakeholders to identify new marketing opportunities.

  • Works individually or with a team in recommending action, scheduling and planning projects, estimating cost and managing projects to completion.

  • Identifies unmet customer requirements and new business opportunities and provides vision and focus to move products from idea to market place.

  • Facilitates and coordinates marketing activities with geographic areas to increase teamwork and build partnerships.

  • Collaborates with internal stakeholders to support digital marketing initiatives and ensure effective execution of customer engagement activities.

  • Regularly reviews market trends, competitive activities, and customer insights.

  • Regularly review and monitor backorders to identify and analyze business impact by communication with sales team

  • Collaborate with logistics teams to understand the reasons for backorders and release plan and update with sales team

Required Knowledge and Experience:

  • Completed bachelor’s degree qualifications

  • Min 5 years of marketing relevant experience in the medical device industry

  • Strong and on-time execution focusses with stakeholders including Sales teams in a dynamic environment with an ability to be agile

  • Good presentation and effective verbal and written English and Korean communication skills

  • Computer and MS Office proficiency
