A Day in the Life

We are seeking a Senior Marketing Specialist for ENT Latin America to support the development and execution of regional marketing strategies for the Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) portfolio.

This position will play an important role in connecting the global business strategy with regional and local market needs, supporting portfolio growth, market development, product lifecycle management, and commercial execution across Latin America. The role requires close collaboration with Global/Operating Unit teams, Sales, clinical, regional and local Marketing, Medical Education, Regulatory Affairs, Market Access, Pricing, Supply Chain, and other cross-functional teams. The position requires availability to travel within Latin America and occasionally to other international destinations and we are looking for candidates based in Bogota, São Paulo or Mexico City.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

  • Support the development and execution of the ENT Latin America marketing strategy, translating global priorities into regional and local initiatives aligned with business objectives and market needs.
  • Develop and execute integrated marketing and product communication plans, supporting go-to-market strategies, market development initiatives, and the adoption of ENT technologies across the region.
  • Support the management of the full portfolio lifecycle, including new product launches, portfolio expansion, registration priorities, portfolio optimization, product transitions, and end-of-life strategies.
  • Analyze market dynamics, customer needs, the competitive landscape, installed base, and business performance to identify unmet needs, growth opportunities, and new business opportunities across countries and therapy areas.
  • Develop product positioning and value propositions using market insights, clinical and economic evidence, customer needs, and competitive analysis.
  • Partner closely with Sales and country teams to support commercial effectiveness, market development, customer segmentation, and opportunity generation.
  • Support regional business planning, AOP, forecasting, and strategic planning processes, using data analysis and financial/commercial performance to identify trends, opportunities, and risks and support decision-making.
  • Participate in pricing and portfolio strategy, supporting price positioning, business case development, and regional decisions in collaboration with commercial and finance teams.
  • Collaborate with Regulatory Affairs, Supply Chain, and local teams to support product availability, registrations, introduction of new technologies, and portfolio continuity across Latin America.
  • Develop and coordinate regional medical education and marketing initiatives, including congresses, educational programs, product launches, workshops, and other customer engagement activities, aligned with business priorities and available budget.
  • Support KOL and healthcare professional engagement strategies, working with regional and local teams to understand clinical needs and identify opportunities for market and therapy development.
  • Coordinate marketing initiatives across Latin American countries and subregions, promoting collaboration, sharing of best practices, and consistency with the regional strategy.
  • Manage and monitor assigned marketing budgets and investments, prioritizing resources according to regional strategy, business opportunities, and expected impact.
  • Monitor the performance and effectiveness of marketing initiatives, using metrics and results analysis to develop recommendations and optimize future activities.
  • Lead or participate in regional and local Business Reviews, providing market analysis, portfolio performance insights, competitive intelligence, and recommendations to support decision-making.
  • Work closely with Global/Operating Unit teams to represent Latin American market needs, share regional insights, and support the implementation of global marketing strategies, tools, and initiatives.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of ENT therapy areas, technologies, the clinical environment, and the competitive landscape to support strategic and commercial decision-making.

Required Knowledge and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Engineering, Healthcare, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in Marketing, Product Management, Commercial Strategy, or related roles, preferably within the medical device, healthcare, or other highly regulated industries.
  • Experience in portfolio management, marketing strategies, product launches, or market development initiatives.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills, with experience using commercial, financial, and market data to assess performance, develop forecasts, identify trends and opportunities, and support strategic decision-making.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data management and analysis, model building, and the use of data for business planning, forecasting, and performance tracking.
  • Ability to work effectively within a matrixed and multicultural organization, collaborating across multiple countries, functions, and organizational levels.
  • Strong communication, presentation, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Advanced English proficiency, both written and spoken.
  • Spanish Advanced both written and spoken.
  • Availability to travel within Latin America and internationally according to business needs.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in the medical device industry and/or surgical technologies.
  • Experience working across multiple Latin American markets.
  • Knowledge of product lifecycle management, pricing, forecasting, market access, medical education, or healthcare market development.
  • Portuguese proficiency.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with Sales, Regulatory Affairs, Supply Chain, Market Access, and Global Marketing teams.
