A Day in the Life

Our Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) Operating Unit consists of a comprehensive product portfolio and therapies designed to treat Ear, Nose and Throat disorders. For patients with chronic rhinosinusitis (CRS), we offer an innovative, comprehensive treatment continuum with leading Image Guided Navigation systems and powered instruments for Functional Endoscopic Sinus Surgeries (FESS), as well as the newly launched bioresorbable steroid-eluting sinus implants. In our portfolio within Otology we offer a high speed drill for ear surgeries and with our H&N Nervemonitoring system we provide a technology to protect the integrety of nerves during a variety of surgeries incl thyrodectomies. To continue developing our operating unit in the North Europe (NE) region (Benelux, Germany, Alpine, UK&I and Nordic), we are looking for a fulltime Sales Representative responsible for Finland.

Core Responsibilities :

- Manage relationships with ENT surgeons, ENT nurses, procurement teams, and hospital decision-makers

- Promote and sell ENT products through direct clinical and commercial engagement

- Support product evaluations, trials, and demonstrations in operating rooms or clinics

- Provide clinical and technical product support during cases when needed

- Monitor account performance, pipeline, forecast, and market activity

- Support training sessions for clinicians and staff on product use and benefits

- Track competitor activity and identify new business opportunities

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

  • Promote the ENT product portfolio into ENT and relevant surgical clinics across the defined territory
  • Acquire a thorough working knowledge of the specialist products and therapies we promote and develop a clear understanding of the clinical applications for the products
  • Keep this knowledge up to date through regular sales meetings and product training sessions
  • Maintain up to date sales records and present at quarterly sales meetings to compare results against sales forecast and provide a sales forecast for the following quarter
  • Liaise, whenever necessary, with other Medtronic staff in the marketing team, customer services, business support and other divisions to ensure a proper level of customer service is maintained
  • Develop relationships with customers which enhance the image of the company by showing a professional and positive attitude
  • Record on a day-to-day basis, activities in customer accounts, prevailing or changing business trends, customer complaints, competitor activity through CRM system and other available channels

Required Knowledge and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in science or business
  • Successful sales experience from the medical industry
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills as well as analytical and project management skills
  • Ability to prepare and present a strategic business plans, including a sales forecast
  • Proven track record of building a robust stakeholder network and establish and maintain professional relationships with Key Opinion Leaders
  • Ability to travel to sites across the region covered by this role
  • Effectively communication skills both written and verbal in Finnish as well as English
