JUNIOR / ASSISTANT WAREHOUSE MANAGER

We are seeking a reliable, organised and hands-on Junior / Assistant Warehouse Manager to join our team at a growing food packaging company supplying the retail and wholesale markets.

The successful candidate will assist with the day-to-day management of warehouse operations, ensuring efficient stock control, accurate order picking, timely dispatching and the smooth running of the warehouse.

• Assist in managing daily warehouse operations and staff.
• Receive, check and store incoming stock and deliveries.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular stock counts.
• Oversee order picking, packing and dispatch to ensure customer orders are fulfilled accurately and on time.
• Ensure stock is handled, stored and rotated correctly.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised warehouse environment.
• Monitor stock levels and report shortages, discrepancies or damaged goods.
• Assist with coordinating deliveries, collections and stock movements.
• Ensure warehouse procedures are followed.
• Support the Warehouse Manager with administration, reporting and operational planning.

• Previous warehouse experience is essential.
• Experience in stock control and inventory management will be an advantage.
• Good organisational and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• A hands-on approach with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
• A practical, proactive and solutions-focused approach.

R18000.00 p/m before TAX during probation period (Ends February 2027)
