Securitas is seeking two dependable and detail-oriented Security Operations Center (SOC) Operator to support daily security operations at our client's site during overnight shifts. In this role, you will monitor security systems, respond to alarms and incidents, and help maintain a safe and secure environment. The ideal candidate is comfortable working with technology, communicates effectively, and can remain calm and focused in a fast-paced environment.
Pay Rate: $22.40/hour
Location: Framingham, MA
Schedule(s):
Schedule 1: Wednesday through Sunday OVERNIGHTS, 12:00 am - 8:00 am (40 hours)
Schedule 2: Friday through Tuesday OVERNIGHTS, 12:00 am - 8:00 am (40 hours)
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor CCTV cameras, alarm systems, access control systems, and other security technologies.
- Monitor security alerts and respond to incidents in accordance with established procedures.
- Receive, assess, and communicate alarms, emergencies, and other security-related events to the appropriate personnel.
- Accurately document incidents, security activities, and responses in daily logs and incident reports.
- Monitor access control activity and identify and report unauthorized access or suspicious activity.
- Communicate with security officers, site leadership, emergency responders, and other departments as needed.
- Follow established protocols for emergency situations, incident escalation, and response.
- Maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive information and security-related communications.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support site security operations.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a Security Operations Center, command center, dispatch, or security-related role preferred.
- Familiarity with CCTV, access control, alarm monitoring, or incident management systems is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to follow established procedures and communicate information accurately.
- Professionalism and a strong commitment to safety and security.
