About The Opportunity
Under the direction of the Production/Shipping/Scheduling, the Inventory Controller/Cycle Counter will maintain an accurate inventory of materials in the facility by working directly with Receiving/Shipping and Purchasing, verifying sufficient inventory for production using the inventory system, reconciling, and reporting to management.Shift: 1st Shift, Full Time
Job Mode: Onsite
Pay: $23.18
- Execute material verification Based upon information provided by the Plant Scheduler and Production Supervision.
- Validating material movement transactions
- Maintain continuous and accurate cycle counting of the facility
- Coordinate cycle counting with forklift drivers on shift
- Prepare and participate in weekly physical inventory.
- Direct monthly product inventory, perform verifications, and keep spreadsheets up to date
- Understand and utilize the FIFO methodology
- Perform other duties as assigned by management/supervisors
- Take apart job jackets after completion
- Back up administrative assistant
