This role is the technical lead for our EMEA ISV partners, helping software companies build and scale commercial products using Mendix, AI Cloud and Graph Studio. Together, these technologies combine application development, data and AI capabilities to help partners build more intelligent software products.
Our ISV partners build products or product suites that are deployed repeatedly across many end customers. Their technical choices therefore directly affect the scalability, reliability, maintainability and market success of their products.
The impact of this role goes beyond technical success. You help partners build products that succeed in the market, while identifying where our wider platform can create additional value. This includes expanding the use of Mendix and introducing AI Cloud and Graph Studio where they can strengthen the partner's product.
As an EMEA ISV Technical Account Manager, you own the post-sales technical relationship with a portfolio of ISV partners. You work closely with CTOs, CPOs, architects and engineering teams, helping them become technically self-sufficient and scale their products across their customer base.
Responsibilities:
- Build trusted relationships with CTOs, CPOs, architects and engineering leaders
- Translate partner product and business objectives into a clear Technical Success Plan
- Track technical progress, risks and opportunities together with the partner and ISV commercial lead
- Advise partners on product architecture, development practices and effective use of our technologies
- Advise on architecture supporting repeatable deployment, scalability, maintainability and product evolution
- Provide hands-on guidance through workshops, prototyping, troubleshooting and light development
- Identify technical risks and blockers early and help partners resolve them
- Engage Mendix experts or implementation partners when additional expertise or development capacity is required
- Enable partner engineering teams to independently build, operate and evolve their products
- Tailor technical enablement to each partner's product, experience and development roadmap
- Share relevant best practices, development patterns, technical resources and platform updates
- Help partners successfully launch and scale their products across an increasing number of end customers
- Identify opportunities to expand Mendix usage within existing products or across their product portfolio
- Surface opportunities for AI Cloud and Graph Studio to strengthen products and create customer value
- Turn technical opportunities into broader platform adoption together with the ISV commercial lead
- Maintain a clear view of partner technical health, progress, risks and opportunities
- Provide technical input to the ISV commercial lead to support partner growth and account strategy
- Coordinate with Product, technical specialists, implementation partners and wider Siemens teams when needed
- Bring partner feedback and technical blockers to Product, Field CTO and ISV leadership
- Keep partners informed about relevant product developments and roadmap direction
