Senior Civil Tender Engineer

Review and analyze tender documents, drawings, specifications, and Bills of Quantities (BOQs).
Prepare accurate cost estimates and competitive technical and financial proposals for civil construction projects.
Perform quantity take-offs and detailed pricing analyses.
Prepare and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations.
Conduct cost comparisons and negotiate competitive prices with suppliers and subcontractors.
Identify discrepancies, technical risks, and potential cost-saving opportunities within tender documents.
Prepare detailed cost breakdowns, pricing sheets, and tender reports.
Coordinate with technical, procurement, and project teams to ensure accurate tender submissions.
Develop value engineering proposals to optimize project costs.
Ensure timely submission of tenders in compliance with client requirements and company standards.
Maintain updated records of market prices, material costs, and subcontractor rates.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
4–6 years of proven experience in civil tendering, estimation, and pricing within construction or contracting companies.
Strong knowledge of civil construction activities, materials, and execution methods.
Excellent experience in preparing and reviewing BOQs, quantity take-offs, and cost estimates.
Strong understanding of technical specifications, construction drawings, and tender documentation.
Proven ability to prepare competitive technical and financial offers.
Experience in evaluating supplier and subcontractor quotations.
Strong knowledge of Egyptian construction market prices and industry standards.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Excel.
Familiarity with Primavera P6 and estimation software is an advantage.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
Strong communication and coordination skills.
Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple tenders, and meet tight deadlines.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
