Como Software Engineer Backend en Mercado Libre, diseñarás y escalarás sistemas innovadores y seguros que resuelven problemas reales y de alto impacto. Trabajarás en un entorno dinámico con tecnología de vanguardia, aplicando buenas prácticas de ingeniería, modelos de IA propios y aprendizaje continuo, con el propósito de democratizar el comercio electrónico y los servicios financieros en América Latina.

Imagináte emprendiendo proyectos desafiantes, dinámicos e innovadores y siendo responsable de:

  • Desarrollar código de alta calidad, refactors complejos y code reviews.

  • Diseñar y mantener APIs robustas y escalables para garantizar soluciones resilientes, modulares y alineadas con los objetivos del negocio.

  • Tomar decisiones basadas en datos, utilizando dashboards, herramientas analíticas y la experiencia colectiva del equipo.

  • Diseñar arquitecturas distribuidas aplicando patrones avanzados.

  • Definir estrategias de testing y observabilidad, implementando pruebas automatizadas, métricas y logs para asegurar confiabilidad y performance.

¿Qué buscamos en vos?

  • Poseer más de 5 años de experiencia en roles similares, dominando lenguajes tales como Java, Golang y/o Python.

  • Contar con conocimientos en base de datos relacionales y no relacionales.

  • Haber diseñado y desarrollado arquitecturas distribuidas y microservicios.

  • Tener experiencia en testing, asegurando altos estándares de seguridad.
