The Role:
Responsible for the end-to-end delivery of IT implementation projects, ensuring effective planning, governance, stakeholder engagement and delivery management. Working closely with technical and business teams, the Project Manager will manage project plans, risks, issues and dependencies to ensure successful project outcomes within secure and regulated environments.
Requirements
- Manage the end-to-end delivery of IT implementation projects.
- Develop, maintain and track detailed project plans, milestones and dependencies.
- Manage project risks, issues, assumptions and change requests.
- Coordinate technical teams, suppliers and business stakeholders.
- Ensure delivery against agreed timelines, budget and scope.
- Provide regular project reporting and governance updates.
- Facilitate project meetings, workshops and steering committees.
- Engage and influence senior stakeholders to drive project outcomes.
- Escalate delivery risks and blockers where appropriate.
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven experience delivering IT implementation projects.
- Strong technical background with the ability to work closely with infrastructure and technical teams.
- Experience delivering projects involving on-premise infrastructure environments.
- Ability to produce and maintain detailed, accurate project plans.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Able to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
- Organised, proactive and detail-oriented approach.
- Experience managing multiple workstreams and competing priorities.
- SC Clearance or eligibility to obtain SC Clearance.
Desirable Skills & Experience
- ServiceNow project delivery experience.
- National Security, Defence, Government or Policing sector experience.
- Experience working within secure or highly regulated environments.
- Knowledge of IT service management and operational delivery frameworks.
Location Requirements
- Must be based in the South East or within reasonable commuting distance of Farnborough.
- Willingness to attend site as required.
This role will require you to have or be willing to go through Security Clearance. As part of the onboarding process candidates will be asked to complete a Baseline Personnel Security Standard; details of the evidence required to apply may be found on the government website Gov.UK. If you are unable to meet this and any associated criteria, then your employment may be delayed, or rejected . Details of this will be discussed with you at interview
