Tax Internship

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Tax Intern to join our accounting team. This role offers hands-on experience in tax preparation, compliance, and research, providing a solid foundation for a career in corporate finance or public accounting.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and filing of federal, state, and local tax returns.
• Gather, organize, and analyze financial data required for tax calculations.
• Conduct introductory tax research on current regulations and compliance issues.
• Help maintain accurate tax records, spreadsheets, and documentation.
• Support Tax Lead during external audits and month-end close processes.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Foundational understanding of accounting principles and basic tax concepts.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (familiarity with functions and pivot tables is a plus).
• Strong analytical skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
